What's your favorite or least favorite aspect of RP?
i'd say my favorite aspect is the actual act of roleplaying: the anticipation as you see someone type, as they send their reply, as you reply in turn and you wait with bated breath to see how the other responds (': making stories with others is a beautiful thing!!
my least favorite aspect is actually talking about my oc, lol. i'm bursting with ideas, but it riddles me with so much anxiety because i'm afraid what i said was just super lame. but it's always worth it when you and your rp partner arrive to a nice conclusion!!
What kind of characters do you like to play and why?
i definitely like playing more cynical, jaded characters. something i enjoy exploring in characters is how and why life has beat them down, and what it takes to uplift them again.
What is your favorite food? Why?
i'm cuban so this one is a little weird, but it's specifically churrasco, white rice, and black beans. it's such a comfort food and it's so, so good. idk if chocolate milk counts but i love chocolate milk too (:
What's an off-the-wall fact about you?
i'm (sort of) related to pitbull! my grandma is cousins with his grandma lmao
What's your favorite hobby/pass time?
roleplaying!! but for sake for not being self evident, i'd say it's definitely playing a nice story-driven game.
Do you prefer the mountains or the sea? Why?
the sea! mountains are romantic and scenic but remind me of thin air. i've lived near the sea all my life so the smell of salt water is comforting (:

- yeah, i saw they have a new show! i haven't watched it yet, but i hope to get some time to do that after i rewatch hannibal and the movies! honestly, i have seen silence of the lambs way too many times; the last time i saw it was with one of my best friends from high school; we managed to make it into a romantic comedy somehow. but, i'm absolutely obsessed with this particular character and everything related to him────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

the mountains! i like walking around and while there's not really a lot of places to hike where i'm from, i'd love to go on a trip with some friends and go camping on some mountains (like, maybe not where there's snow or danger, but somewhere beautiful and chill). the sea over here is often not a lot to look at and i've seen it so much during my life that it's just kind of boring at this point; plus, there's not a lot to do at the beach and i'm not exactly a fan of the sun, haha. definitely the mountains!

pasta and pitbull and pizza, oh my
!!!!!!!!!! i've always wanted to make homemade pasta, but i don't really have the room or time right now to undertake that venture, lol. i loooove stuffed pastas: ravioli, stuffed shells, and tortellini in. that. order. :) i'll usually give any pasta dish a try as long as there is no seafood in it, or mushrooms, and i'm not really too particular of pesto sauces. but spaghetti, baked ziti, alfredo, etc. are ALL staples in my diet for sure !TeaThyme wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 6:36 pm

favorite tv show/movie: outlander, on netflix. it's got history, romance, time-travel, the highlands, and the main character is a nurse! absolutely love love love that show.
mountains or sea: definitely mountains. i enjoy hiking (even though wisconsin has like, no mountains to hike in lol), and while i found the ocean to be cool the one time i was in it, i was also terrified at the possibilities. it's a little tooo powerful for me (and salty). i'll keep my feet on the ground where i belong haha
pizza toppings: sausage and cheese. pepperoni too if i'm in the mood for it. crust dipped in marinara sauce = amazing.
favorite meme: ohh boy. i can't just pick one. the more simple and badly edited the better tbh

My favourite part is plotting and world-building, I suppose. Also fangirling about our characters and their interactions. xD I love seeing the role-play unfold and develop as we continue writing. On the other hand, sometimes the creation of the reply itself becomes my least favourite aspect. Especially if I’m busy in real life or I’m feeling tired and the muse is low…
• What kind of characters do you like to play and why?
I enjoy playing a variety of different characters. Although, most of my males tend to be arrogant, sassy little shits that hide their vulnerability behind a cocky smirk while my females range from shy but gentle and helpful individuals to brave, independent, takes-shit-from-no-one ladies. xD Whichever traits the character may have, I love seeing them grow during the role-play.
• What is your favourite food? Why?
I enjoy all kinds of food, but I just ate BBQ pulled pork burger for dinner, and right now, it’s my favourite food. xD It always tastes so good.
• What's an off-the-wall fact about you?
I can’t come up with a fact about myself right now, but I just remembered a really stupid thing I did once in my childhood. I used to love playing badminton (I still do, actually). But that one time I didn’t want to play with a shuttlecock, you know, like a normal person would. No, I had to pick up small rocks, hit them with the racket and watch them fly. I did all of this right in front of my dad’s car. As you can probably guess, one of the rocks hit the rear door window. I can still see it clearly, the way the glass shattered and crumbled down into the inside of the car. Suffice it to say, when my dad saw the car, he was not amused. I‘ve never picked up rocks to play badminton with ever again.
• What's your favourite hobby/pass time?
Art. c: Although, I'm not drawing as much as I used to. Yet every time I pick up a pencil/marker/brush/tablet pen I enjoy the process just as much.
• What's your favourite type/flavour of tea/coffee?
I love forest fruit tea. Not a fan of coffee, though, it makes me too jittery. xD
• Are you on any other websites, whether it be for rping or for games?
I used to role-play on a few other sites, and play Lioden and Wolvden, but I'm not that active anymore.

Not at the moment, no. I wish to get a parrotlet one day, though. I love those tiny raptors.

I love romantic fantasy. Even better if it has humor in it. And if it’s a well-written enemies to friends to lovers… I practically devour it. xD

No, I can't listen to music when I'm writing a reply for a role-play. It distracts me too much. I almost always listen to music when I'm drawing/painting, though! I usually choose songs that seem fitting for the drawing/painting I'm making. c: Or I just leave my main playlist (which is full of all kinds of different genres) on shuffle. xD
• If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Oh, this is tough, because I want to visit several places! Let's see. I'd definitely love to go to Iceland, Norway, Ireland, Scotland, US... Heck, every country is interesting in its own way!

I’m really bad at picking favourites. xD I’ll say this, though. If I could only listen to one band for the rest of my life, it would be OneRepublic. I have loved their songs for a long time now.

Not sure there is one. I think I was always lucky to find a partner for the plots I craved.

There are too many. xD I love Loki, Lucifer, Once Upon a Time, all Marvel movies, The Lion King, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, and many others.
• What was your worst experience while travelling somewhere via train?
I’m not sure I had any unpleasant experiences! I actually love travelling via train. Although, a few years ago I attended a language camp in Sweden and the train ride there was quite long and a bit uncomfortable. But I don’t really consider that as a bad experience.
• If you could learn one language and speak it fluently right now, what would it be and why?
It might sound odd, but I’d love to learn the Old Norse language. c: It would be awesome to read and understand the sagas, poems, etc. The Norse mythology was one of the reasons why I decided to study Swedish.
• Do you prefer the mountains or the sea? Why?
I love the sea, since I grew up and am still living in a coastal city, but there's also something magical about the mountains... I just think they look majestic and beautiful.

Oh, I love cheese, ham, pickles and onions.
• Your favourite scene in a book/movie/tv show/video game/etc.? Why?
Although I love the entire Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron movie, there is that scene at the beginning, when we see the herd galloping through the prairie (not sure that’s exactly what it’s called, correct me if I'm wrong). I always get goosebumps when I see them running free and that wonderful music is playing.

What's your favorite or least favorite aspect of RP?
my favorite aspect of RP is probably world building and character building. I love diving into a plot and creating worlds and details and character relationships. I really enjoy building character relationships and histories and intertwining my and my partners' ideas and really seeing the story come to life.
What kind of characters do you like to play and why?
I have a lot of different characters, it really just depends on the plot and story I'm throwing them into. I usually have a good mix of kinda badass and really nerdy, fantasy type and realistic. my characters usually have a wide range of sexualities as well. Some have really tragic backstories, some have nicer histories. some are really really old beings and some are just normal human aged beings. I really love the tortured immortal card though.
What is your favorite food? Why?
my favorite food is probably sushi. There's so many different types and It's always fun finding something new to try! A specific favorite type of sushi would have to be unagi.
What's an off-the-wall fact about you?
uhhh, I don't know if this is off the wall but I am Slytherin, and my patronus is a Hyena xD
What's your favorite hobby/pass time?
My favorite hobby is horses, though its more of a lifestyle at this point in my life. I have been training horses for several years now, and often ill ride mostly tackless, or in an English saddle. My heart horse is my twelve year old thoroughbred mare.

I drink both coffee and tea, depending on my mood. For coffee, I'll usually do an irish cream cold brew, because honestly when I got home from Italy I couldn't stand most American coffee anymore xD. As for tea, my local teashop makes this really nice vanilla and rose tea that is my all time favorite. other than I like the stronger black teas like earl grey.

Yes! I love listening to music while I'm writing. I listen to just about anything but rap. I can't stand rap thanks to an ex bf who only played it and played it constantly. But I listen to everything else. Some days I'll go from old school country to disney to citizen soldier to broadway. It really just depends on my mood and what I'm writing. A lot of my characters that I've created over the years have playlists that are solely for them and I listen to them when writing for those characters.
If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Oh boy! So I stayed in Paris and several places in Italy for ten days in November of 2019 and I want to go back so bad! I want to make a big trip of it though and go all over Europe! I especially want to go to Ireland and Spain. Another trip I'd absolutely love is to Mongolia. I want to study under some of the amazing horsemen there. Another horse related trip for me would be to Iceland!

This is definitely a hard one. If i had to pick just one song, I think it would have to be the Cowboy and Clown by Craig Morgan.
• What's a plot/rp you've been dying to do, but have never found a partner for?
umm... there are definitely a couple! One is actually slightly based kind of on the book I'm trying to write. Its a werewolf roleplay, and I can give tons more detail to someone if they're interested, but the gist is an assassin is sent to kill the heir of a pack and take over the pack by tricking the heir's sister who becomes heiress at her brother's death. but the assassin actually falls in love with her and lots of drama ensues. Another is children of the avengers go on a trip without their parents for the first time, and end up in some trouble or something. really anything with children of the avengers.
What's everyone's favourite show or movie?
This is a hard one! I have tons haha. TV Shows are Bones, Once Upon a Time, Blacklist, Castle, Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Legacies, Lucifer, Grey's Anatomy, Station 19, Roswell New Mexico(the new one), Supernatural, Heartland, The 100, Good Witch, and many many more but I'll stop the list here haha. Movies, are Wild Hearts Can't be Broken, Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron, Lion King, Finding Nemo + Dory, Oliver and Company, all of The Pirates of the Caribbeans, 10 Things I hate About You, Aladdin, Hotel for Dogs, Babe, Charlotte's Web, The Jungle Book, all the Fast n Furious, and all the Harry Potters.
What was your worst experience while travelling somewhere via train?
Um, I haven't really had a bad experience on a train. One time my best friend's mom wouldn't let us be on our phones or DSs because she wanted us to stare out the window. at rock. because we were in a tunnel. and then in a canyon where the only thing to look at was a solid rock wall on either side. That was really annoying, but not really bad.
If you could learn one language and speak it fluently right now, what would it be and why?
Oooo. This one is a hard one because I'd love to learn several. I'm currently learning French on my own, and I'm enjoying learning it, but another I'd really love to learn would be both Irish and Scottish Gaelic. And Romanian.
Do you prefer the mountains or the sea? Why?
Oh damn this might be the hardest question yet. I live on the west coast of the US, literally at the base of a mountain range, but I love love love the sea as well and It's only a few hours away. I'd have to say it would depend on my mood or the time of year. Going into the mountains makes me feel cool and collected in the dead heat of summer, and the I love the feeling of standing on top of the world. Watching the sun rise and set from up in the mountains is an amazing thing and it fills me with wanderlust and excitement. The sea, on the other hand, gives me a sense of peaceful calm. Standing in the cool wet sand as the waves crash in and out, I can't describe the feeling it gives me. I could stare at the ocean for hours. Thunderstorms on the sea are even better.
What toppings do you get on your pizza?
I usually get pepperoni, ham, bell peppers and olives. Sometimes add bacon too.
Your favourite scene in a book/movie/tv show/video game/etc.? Why?
One of my favourite scenes in a TV show is in Castle, Season 4 Ep 23. Rick essentially told Kate that he loved her and that if she wasn't going to keep herself safe then he was done worrying about her. The very last scene in the episode, Kate is soaking wet from sitting on the swings in the rain where they always sat together, and she shows up at Rick's place soaking wet. When he opens the door he frowns and asks her what she wants, and she responds with simply "you" and kisses him.

Its a werewolf roleplay, and I can give tons more detail to someone if they're interested, but the gist is an assassin is sent to kill the heir of a pack and take over the pack by tricking the heir's sister who becomes heiress at her brother's death. but the assassin actually falls in love with her and lots of drama ensues. Another is children of the avengers go on a trip without their parents for the first time, and end up in some trouble or something. really anything with children of the avengers.

This is a hard one! I have tons haha. TV Shows are Bones, Once Upon a Time, Blacklist, Castle, Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Legacies, Lucifer, Grey's Anatomy, Station 19, Roswell New Mexico(the new one), Supernatural, Heartland, The 100, Good Witch, and many many more but I'll stop the list here haha. Movies, are Wild Hearts Can't be Broken, Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron, Lion King, Finding Nemo + Dory, Oliver and Company, all of The Pirates of the Caribbeans, 10 Things I hate About You, Aladdin, Hotel for Dogs, Babe, Charlotte's Web, The Jungle Book, all the Fast n Furious, and all the Harry Potters.
What was your worst experience while travelling somewhere via train?
Um, I haven't really had a bad experience on a train. One time my best friend's mom wouldn't let us be on our phones or DSs because she wanted us to stare out the window. at rock. because we were in a tunnel. and then in a canyon where the only thing to look at was a solid rock wall on either side. That was really annoying, but not really bad.
If you could learn one language and speak it fluently right now, what would it be and why?
Oooo. This one is a hard one because I'd love to learn several. I'm currently learning French on my own, and I'm enjoying learning it, but another I'd really love to learn would be both Irish and Scottish Gaelic. And Romanian.
Do you prefer the mountains or the sea? Why?
Oh damn this might be the hardest question yet. I live on the west coast of the US, literally at the base of a mountain range, but I love love love the sea as well and It's only a few hours away. I'd have to say it would depend on my mood or the time of year. Going into the mountains makes me feel cool and collected in the dead heat of summer, and the I love the feeling of standing on top of the world. Watching the sun rise and set from up in the mountains is an amazing thing and it fills me with wanderlust and excitement. The sea, on the other hand, gives me a sense of peaceful calm. Standing in the cool wet sand as the waves crash in and out, I can't describe the feeling it gives me. I could stare at the ocean for hours. Thunderstorms on the sea are even better.
What toppings do you get on your pizza?
I usually get pepperoni, ham, bell peppers and olives. Sometimes add bacon too.
Your favourite scene in a book/movie/tv show/video game/etc.? Why?
One of my favourite scenes in a TV show is in Castle, Season 4 Ep 23. Rick essentially told Kate that he loved her and that if she wasn't going to keep herself safe then he was done worrying about her. The very last scene in the episode, Kate is soaking wet from sitting on the swings in the rain where they always sat together, and she shows up at Rick's place soaking wet. When he opens the door he frowns and asks her what she wants, and she responds with simply "you" and kisses him.

on occasion, yes. i listen to pretty much everything - from vroom vroom by charli xcx to the combine harvester by the wurzels to godzilla by eminem to mos thoser by food house to mario kart by aitch to tangerine by glass animals and rounding it all off at a town called malice by the jam. it's a very eclectic taste. i literally will listen to borderline anything lmfao. if i have a good playlist for a character i will fall in love with them so much faster.

what's a plot/rp you've been dying to do, but have never found a partner for?
honestly i am so flimsy when it comes to plots, but atm it's anything to do with teddy boys and the 50s.

favourite film is eurotrip. awful mid-2000s comedy featuring cameos from matt damon and vinnie jones. favourite show is the thick of it, a satirical political sitcom that is much better than it sounds.

honestly there are so many - i used to get the train daily to and from my high school, and the people that you encounter on the 7am train are often absolutely horrific people. i can't qualify a single experience, but i can say that i cannot smell the smell of weetabix without gagging as a result of the stench of the train station in the mornings.

i just finished reading night shift by stephen king! there were a couple of days that i had nothing better to do at work, so it just kind of led to me doing nothing but wasting time in the office and reading (honestly, this is the first book i read in 3+ years, so it still feels a bit odd to have time to do that). but i did enjoy it a lot!

what's everyone's favorite show or movie? right now, my favorite show is Bridgerton. it doesn't take much for me to get obsessed with something and latch on, but all the drama, scandal, and historical pining/angst is enough for me to be so damn obsessed with this show... you don't even know. right now? one of my all time favorite movies will always be Now You See Me -- i have probably seen this movie fifty times, i never get tired of it! it's my go-to comfort movie.
What was your worst experience while travelling somewhere via train? i used to live in NJ and would frequently take the train/bus/shuttle/whatever you want to call it/ to NYC. i don't really have any terrible experiences on a train, but, i remember being super young and seeing someone throw up on the train. it was like engraved in my brain, i dunno why.

What was your worst experience while travelling somewhere via train? one time i fell asleep on the train (not the first time it happened) on the way to my grandma's and missed her station (´•ω•̥`) and all the stations following hers were tiny ones with maybe a train every hour so i had to frantically check station timetables to figure out how the hell to make it to her town. at the end i got off at the first big-ish station with multiple trains and then changed at another station from there and made it like... 3 hours later than anticipated. even the ticket inspector chuckled at me when he checked my ticket and told me i was going the wrong way and i had to tell him i missed my stop and was going back lol
